Keeping Up Appearances

Image
Would you believe it or not? I have spent at least a good hour (or what easily feels like that long) comparing these photographs to set as my new Facebook profile picture. Genuinely, what I find incredibly amusing is the fact that I can't afford my own food and rent, but for some noxious reason, I punish my self with a superficial lecture about which picture could entice the allure and appeal of my acquaintances, portraying an expression of mercy and humility for my loyalty. How can I represent my personality the most effectively, receive reliable feedback, with out deliberate intention to sculpt an explicitly artificial, tailored impression that of my environment, the glazed glance of my eyes, and an edge in the angle that it has been taken from.  As someone with a disorder (originally thought to be a personality disorder but after tactful research misconceived & apparently Autism) with an unstable schedule and an acutely sparse differentiation to offer to my friends on

About the RENT...

1. When people share a kitchen/ bathroom and don't clean up after them selves, worse still when nobody comes clean about the mess.🍳 2. The constant fear of damage to any of the furnishings would risk losing the deposit, and you ultimately in debt.📉 3. Other tenants accumulating their gear in the communal areas so as to mark their territory, they behave like they own the place.😐 4. Having to rely on the punctuality and service of the landlord/ agency if any thing goes wrong. Even they can take the piss.📴 5. Sharing with strangers can be petrifying. Always being paranoid that your food and laundry are going to get looted, is an anxiety that weighs awkwardly on your conscience. Unnecessary small-talk in and around the property is always a bit of a 'drag.'👜 6. Cleaning duties are stricter because its not in your name to trash the place. Some fair wear and tear policies get pushed to the limit. 🔨 7. Some tenants never actually meet or become familiari

Existentialist - Escorting

I routinely write here at Godless hours of our actuality. Our experience of living transcends into lost time, and energy only progresses into affluence and a plethora that we pay our undivided application to. ⏳ My narrative of late seldom invites the provocations that I have managed to boil my personal dilemmas down to, I am assuredly glad to see the back of the last few years. Allow me to elaborate...  Since my last post, I have encountered the inexplicable climax of a contest which imposes that you aren't worth any thing unless you have plenty of people to prove it to. Ultimately, I disagree. I have come to know that life is not as linear as incipiently supposed by school teachers, work colleagues and family members. 🏆 Although they fiercely indoctrinate us with their own convictions and likewise axioms, this is not necessarily an accurate guideline to the life of an individual, distinctly a young person in this modern culture.  Shortly after the Halloween holiday, I can

It is not surprising to feel a little bit disappointed when we throw out food that has turned defective and not suitable for human consumption. This is because of the amount of waste we produce in Britain has been rising due to our consumerist lifestyle lead by a capitalist society. We simply throw away things with out a second thought. We do not acknowledge that our minor actions have a great collective effect on the environment and over the course of time we are gradually incurring an energy crisis that is very taxing on millions of families across the UK. Therefore it brings me a lot of disdain when I find my self, philosophising over a stick of corn on the cob, commiserating about where it came from, how it was provided and whether or not I should continue to cook with it, since it smells very funky, frankly. I cannot tell if this is a metaphor for unnecessary anxiety or literally a test of my intelligence and Earthy - morale, so it brings me no pleasure in decision making, espe

Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged

"Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye." Matthew 7:5 A few words can mean a lot, especially when they are aimed at a person's course of life - never mind the thoughts or opinions we babble on another person's humanity. Hence forth, I am writing this with as much open mindedness as possible, since I have recently undergone judgement my self, I know the trivialities which critique, and what the imposing questions of another person's life path occupy. Whether it be involving image (self consciousness and self esteem issues quickly rise to anxiety, depression and in serious cases, suicide) life style choices (everything from stoners to gym fanatics) a person's perspective/beliefs or lack of. Having a job or being unemployed, having children or complete lethargy, we should remind ourselves regularly, that we are only here to focus on our own progress not to sha

To Vape or not to Vape?

I am a smoker of the last 5 years, with intermittent breaks, meaning I have managed to quit almost cold turkey for up to and over a month. Various online resources reveal contrasting statistics claiming that it is roughly 28-60 days to create or break a habit of one form or another, so this is not exclusive to smoking. I have been very serious about my smoking addiction and have gone to extreme measures to counteract the effect, in relation to its causes on my health, lifestyle and image. I have no doubt that the iconography depicting smokers have both a severe impact on our social status (whether we choose to adopt this particular scene or not) let alone our self-esteem or ambitions in life. It was suggested in another article I found on the web that smokers are more likely to be on a lower-income or incestuous around covert issues. I think that smoking is nothing more than an addiction, I do believe that a person has personal power to quit, however rem

In Other Words

I am disappointed to hear about people saying that they are in a process of ''reinventing themselves''... End of relationship, New Employment, New Years Eve, Summer season. Purely because during this transformation, in essence they could lose who they truly are. Besides, if we are supposed to love ourselves unconditionally, then why should we be attempting to alter parts of us that essentially generates who we already are? Individuals.  2009 Furthermore, I believe that we must be vigilant of what we feed our brains, not just by the products we purchase or the food we eat, the drugs we use or the people we meet, but in our private containment. The media which we digest and the company we hunt, moulds our very character from the inside-out.  2015 For example, there are certain developments during puberty. The nature or nurture debate springs up especially in concern for ages 0 - 12, alas the terrible teens as it were, would be arguably the cr

Click this pic to hear more about the whacky craze spawning all over YT Jenna Marbles does a weirdly awesome version on her channel 1. Beauty Products This one is especially directed at the Ladies, although I can't prejudice and suppose that men do not use beauty products from time to time, even if it is just a moisturiser or grooming tools, however the fact is applying make up becomes ritualistic and a 'can't live with out' for most women on a day to day basis. I believe that application of make up etc. can become an addiction to the extent that an individual cannot so much as pop to the corner shop with out a full coverage of face art. Reapplying make up throughout the day is not a foreign concept in the western world, whether it be discreetly during lectures, pruning in the office or simply a slight touch up trip in the public toilets, you can never go too far with out catching someone checking them selves out in a mirror. The same convention goes for tan
