Beauty is in the Eye of the beholder

What is beauty? To see clearly one must encounter spiritual truth, that they should allow themselves to recognise that we all have aspects and parts of our physical bodies that we aren't so proud of, however instead of being overwhelmed and warped by images of ladies in fashion magazines and advertisements, we should carefully examine our bodies and learn to appreciate, adapt and adore our flaws more than comparatively towards marketed visuals. For example we may have an extremely distorted self esteem, due to ill-health, and the societal pressures to conform to certain aesthetic standards, even in desperate moments we may consider options such as surgery and expensive procedures to erase so-called 'blemishes' or 'imperfections' that in reality aren't what these labels entice at all. They are in fact, naturally occurring phenomena of what it means to be a human being. With that, I believe the most important element of living in the modern world is how we feel o...

Its the small things

What a strange week so far! It is true, my life is in perfect chaos. There's a distant voice, somewhere from the peripheral, either telling me to give up, coaxing my higher self to forget it, its not worth it, just get pissed and say "screw you" to life... or the more likely truth, is that it is all in my tired imagination and I'm not going to succumb to it's negativity! It would seem there are not enough hours in the day! :') I particularly find joy from discussing extensively around the topics of spirituality, well-being and alternative medicine, such as spirit-science, which you may regard as a hoax or fairly stated ill-informed. None the less, I do consider its legitimacy, for its appeal is personal to my own experiences of life and since I am exploring the many faiths ...
