Common Misconceptions Of Beauty

Here I debug the illusions and miscalculations of what it means to be beautiful.

1. Myth: That being pale skinned is not attractive.
Truth: If you travel to foreign third world climates, the local farmers will literally beg you to cover your skin since fair skinned people are considered rich as they don't have to work in labouring conditions. On the other hand, in cooler places such as England, a healthy glow suggests that you go on holiday a lot and therefore can afford more trips abroad. Hey-Ho. A lot of red-carpet celebrities are often very white and against treatments such as sun-beds.

2. Myth: That more make-up products applied = better features.
Truth: Less is more! I've said this before, but make-up is supposed to accentuate what you already have. Yes we have all seen strangers morph into Kim Kardashian with the art of face contouring, on the other hand, most men would agree that they prefer to see the same face when they wake up to you in the morning, as from the person the night before, not a dementor. Lol.

3. Myth: Bed hair is not a good look.
Truth: Take dreadlocks for example. Its far from sleek and chic although it is highly merited as a socially accepted style, and it is far from the glossy magazines ideal of beauty. Wake up, back-comb, rock out. Aye.

4. Myth: That you have to follow trends to have a good sense of style.
Truth: It is not all about being identical to mainstream fashion examples. It is about finding the clothes that suit you and express your personality. Fashion should be fun and comfortable at the same time! If you don't feel good in it, chances are you don't look that great either. Go with your gut feeling and wear what ever you want. You can coordinate styles from all branches of the fashion world and pull off your own unique attire. Find independent brands online or go to markets such as car boots, or that smelly rail in the charity shop, you may find a life long gem. A La Sabs.

5. Myth: You have to look like the the models in the protein shake ads and be 100% buff to be attractive.
Truth: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty lies within. I am not going to go into this one right now, because I'm not in the mood, but if you search deeply and investigate the depiction behind media propaganda of who is deemed attractive, then you find yourself in a fancy over someone who is far from Posh or Becks, and it doesn't make sense then there my friend you have found the truth.
